- 4–6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup high-quality BBQ sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
- Combine brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper; rub onto chicken.
- Bake chicken for 20-25 minutes.
- Remove from oven and brush generously with BBQ sauce.
- Return to oven and bake for another 10-15 minutes until sauce is bubbling and caramelized.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
