Description

A buttery, orange‑glazed salmon that balances sweet, salty, and citrus flavors for a quick dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets, skin on, about 6 ounces each
  • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon grated orange zest
  • 2 tablespoons low‑sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together orange juice, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and a splash of olive oil in a small bowl.
  3. Pat the salmon fillets dry, season with salt and pepper, and lay them skin‑side down on the sheet.
  4. Brush each fillet generously with the glaze mixture, reserving some for the finish.
  5. Roast for 10‑12 minutes until the salmon flakes easily and the glaze caramelizes.
  6. Remove from oven, drizzle the remaining glaze over each fillet and sprinkle with orange zest and chopped parsley.
  7. Serve immediately with your favorite side.
