- 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon

- 2 large eggs (room temperature)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 2 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix together pumpkin puree, eggs, vanilla extract, and melted butter until smooth.
- Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- While cooling, beat softened cream cheese in a bowl until smooth. Gradually mix in powdered sugar until desired sweetness is reached.
- Frost cooled pumpkin bars before slicing.
