Description

Ingredients

  • 2 sheets puff pastry (thawed if frozen)
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
  • 2 tbsp flour (for dusting)
  • ½ tsp sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. On a floured surface, roll out one sheet of puff pastry into a rectangle.
  3. Spread Nutella generously over the pastry, leaving an inch border around the edges.
  4. Place the second sheet of pastry on top and gently press to seal. Cut into a tree shape with branches.
  5. Make cuts along both sides of the tree shape and twist branches outward.
  6. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle sea salt.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown, then cool slightly before serving.
