  • 1 cup raw unsalted cashews (soaked for 4 hours)
  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the elbow macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente (about 7-9 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. In a blender, combine soaked cashews, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and almond milk. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the cashew cream into a saucepan over medium heat. Stir frequently for about 5 minutes until heated through.
