Description

  • 1 box (15.25 oz) vanilla cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 package (3 oz) strawberry or raspberry gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (thawed)
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the vanilla cake mix, eggs, and water according to package instructions until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  4. Allow the cake to cool for about 10 minutes, then poke holes all over the surface using a fork or skewer.
  5. Dissolve the gelatin in boiling water according to package directions and pour evenly over the poked holes in the warm cake.
