- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Melt butter in a cast iron skillet over medium heat.
- Stir in brown sugar and cinnamon until bubbly.
- Add sliced peaches and cook for 5 minutes until softened.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt; stir in cold butter and cream until a soft dough forms.
- Drop biscuit dough in mounds over the peaches.
- Bake at 375°F for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
