Ingredients
- All‑purpose flour
- Melted butter
- Eggs
- Milk
- Heavy cream
- Sun‑rising tomatoes
- Fresh mozzarella
- Bacon
- Fresh basil
- Salt
- Fresh black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F
- Cook butter‑flour paste and press into pie pan
- Sear bacon and set aside
- Whisk eggs, milk, and cream, season
- Fold tomatoes and mozzarella into custard
- Spoon custard into crust
- Scatter basil, cover foil, bake 18 minutes
- Uncover, bake additional 12 minutes
- Cool, serve
