A warm, comforting fruit dessert that mimics a classic banana split. Featuring layers of ripe bananas, pineapples, and a buttery cake crust.

- 4 large ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 can (20 oz) pineapple tidbits, drained
- 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup maraschino cherries, halved
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Layer sliced bananas on the bottom of the dish.
- Spread drained pineapple tidbits over the bananas.
- Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over the fruit layer.
- Pour melted butter over the top of the cake mix.
- Top with halved maraschino cherries.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown.
