  • 1 lb large fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients: wash and cut broccoli into florets, peel and devein shrimp, and mince garlic.
  2. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté minced garlic in olive oil for about 1 minute. Add shrimp and cook until pink (about 3-4 minutes). Remove shrimp from skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water as needed.
  5. Return shrimp and broccoli to the skillet, then add cooked pasta. Toss gently to combine.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan if desired.
