  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a cupcake tin with paper liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Fill each cupcake liner two-thirds full with batter and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. For the caramel drizzle, melt sugar in a saucepan until amber brown, then stir in butter and cream until smooth. Cool slightly before drizzling over cooled cupcakes.
