Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (approximately 6 oz each)
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tbsp capers, drained
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Prepare all ingredients: salmon fillets, lemon juice, capers, garlic, cream, butter, and parsley.
- In a pan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown. Flip carefully.
- Add minced garlic around the salmon in the pan and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through but still moist.
- Remove the salmon from the pan temporarily. Pour in lemon juice and cream while scraping any browned bits from the bottom.
- Stir in capers into the sauce mixture and simmer for about 2 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return the salmon fillets back into the pan, coating them gently with sauce. Cook for an additional minute before removing from heat.
