  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (softened) for frosting
  • ¼ tsp peppermint extract for frosting
  • Crushed peppermint candies for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with paper liners.
  2. In a bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes).
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition; then stir in vanilla.
  5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients while alternating with milk until just combined.
  6. Fold in white chocolate chips and fill cupcake liners two-thirds full.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow cooling completely before frosting.
